Recent Publix developed by Morgan Company in Federicksburg, VA

Morgan Company is pleased to announce that Publix Super Markets has signed a lease to anchor Shoppes at Old Hundred, a new grocery-anchored shopping center planned at the intersection of Old Hundred Road and Woolridge Road in Midlothian, Virginia.

Publix will occupy approximately 53,000 square feet at the development, which is situated on approximately 18 acres in one of the fastest-growing residential corridors in Chesterfield County. The site is less than three miles from Route 288, providing convenient access to I-95, I-64 and the greater Richmond region.

The project will also include 15,300 square feet of additional retail shop space and two outparcels, creating opportunities for restaurants, service-oriented businesses and other complementary retailers.

Construction on Shoppes at Old Hundred is expected to commence by the second quarter of 2027, with anticipated project completion in the third quarter of 2028. Other tenant announcements are expected soon.

“We are excited to officially welcome Publix to the Shoppes at Old Hundred,” said Trey Morgan, President & CEO of Morgan Company. “Midlothian and western Chesterfield County continue to experience tremendous residential growth, and we are confident Publix will be a vital retail resource for these communities.”
