David is the Director of Construction at Morgan Company, where he oversees the firm’s construction efforts from early budgeting and scheduling through contractor selection, cost control, and on-time project delivery. He plays a hands-on role throughout the entire build process, helping guide projects from execution through tenant turnover. David also supports the design process by assisting with design team selection, providing constructability input, and evaluating costs during site planning and design development.
Before joining The Morgan Companies in early 2020, David spent more than 20 years in commercial construction across the Southeast, working on large, ground-up projects ranging from $30 million to $150 million. He spent 16 years with DPR Construction, where his experience spanned high-rise multifamily and office projects, hotels and convention facilities, corporate campuses, performing arts venues, higher-education buildings, and structured parking. He later joined HGR Construction, where he opened and led the firm’s Charlotte office, focusing on the development of grocery-anchored retail centers.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from the University of Florida and is a LEED Accredited Professional.
